Walkingpig Reply Assistant BETAPrivacy policy
Effective August 30, 2026. Walkingpig is an invitation-only Chrome extension that drafts replies to public X posts selected by the user.
What is processed
Only after the user clicks Draft, Walkingpig sends the selected public post, its public author and URL, and reliably visible quoted or parent context to Walkingpig's private Cloudflare service and its AI generation provider. This is used only to return the requested drafts.
What is not collected
Walkingpig does not collect X cookies, account credentials, direct messages, bookmarks, following lists, browsing history, neighboring feed posts, page HTML, images, videos, or linked pages. It does not call the X API.
Local data
Generated drafts, edits, manually written replies, consent choices, and local preference history stay in Chrome local storage. Future requests may include only a bounded style summary made of numbers and enums, never prior reply text or post IDs.
Service records and optional analytics
Content-free technical records may include success or error class, token and cost counts, version numbers, sanitized provider request IDs, timing, installation ID, and time. After separate consent, content-free product events may include reply direction, generated/edited/manual source, text lengths, edit distance, elapsed time, version, and the user's explicit Posted or Didn't post outcome. These records never include post ID, author, URL, post text, prompt, draft, edit, or manually written reply and are retained for 90 days.
Sharing and sale
Selected public content is shared only with processors needed to provide drafting. Data is not sold, used for advertising, or used for unrelated credit, insurance, employment, or eligibility decisions.
Controls and deletion
Users can pause or reset personalization, delete local reply history and drafts, disable optional product analytics, and delete previously shared product events. Removing the extension deletes Chrome-managed local extension storage. An invited tester may also request revocation of their server installation through the support channel supplied with their invitation.
Public actions
Reply on X opens X's official composer. Walkingpig does not fill X DOM inputs, click Post, or perform a write through the X API. The user makes the final publishing decision.
